Also, where is the best picture of the day?

No that hill he was talking about was crazy. Loose rocks and a big rut. No room for a run at it. Mark stayed out of the rut for awhile but still ended up in it about 1/2 way to the top. I started out in it and found out that was not a good idea. Probley took 5 years off my clutch. I think with a better tire I would have been ok. Good times. Thanks again Mark it was great ride today.

Oops ... not OH-104. I'm never gonna earn my 'Ride Leader' merit badge.

[QUOTE=sion;18627190]well, despite having worked midnight shift last night, I was able to get my sorry ass up by 230 or so and was on the road by 4...did about 140 miles or so, snagging covered bridge pics.

I'll bet alan recognizes this one:QUOTE]

Looks like Fallsburg. We were on 586 north of there a couple times today. Did you get your other bike fixed?

I concur, Fallsburg next to the pizza shop, before the old school building.

Drove past that for a year going to work in New Concord.

Edit, I guess you were posting at the same time as me.

Depends on the ride. On road 100 miles doesn't usually last over 2 hours. Off road 100 miles can be an all day experience.

Hey, you had the first road right and had it quick.

I'm not a very active bicyclists anymore but when I was doing 100 miles a week it was just like how I ride motorcycles. I take it serious and road etiquette is #2 only after safety. So these bicyclist acting the way they did but a thorn up my ass because by ignoring traffic around them they endanger me and themselves. Might as well be dogs in the road. (Sorry Craig)

But who suggested we rename the road to the closed road sleeping dog lane? I thing we passed at least 6 dogs laying in the road.

One of you had a relative that had difficulty riding due to joint pain in or around the elbows? Send me a PM or Email and let me know what it was he/she did to ease the pain, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Now be nice, you two were doing better for a second there.

PS Scott, I think you would have really enjoyed todays ride. Might have tested your gravel riding skills but the broken pavement sections and twisties would have been fun on the GS.

Yes I'm sure I would have, I'm still trying to get the bike back together and throwing in some yard work (I hate yard work).
Ready to start putting bodywork back on.

bicycles on Three Locks

elbows
Trying to determine if I even know the difference anymore if I ever did.

Bicycles; the people on Three Locks are training for TOSRV, it's mothers day weekend. For many of them it's their only real road ride all year and they are used to having the entire route to themselves. For me, single file, about 2 feet off the white edge line, hold my line and hold my lane. If you get over too far to the right, people get the idea they can pass you even if there is an oncoming car. If they have to slow down for a second, it's just too bad. That's assuming they even see you of course. If they don't see you, it doesn't matter where you are.

Elbows; both elbows sore?

Great meeting and riding with everyone yesterday. Here's a short video of that road.

That would be my bike sliding backwards on it's kickstand at the end of the video.

Snob Alert.

This would explain extreme variety of equipment quality and safety gear these people were wearing. Some looked they had just ridden out of the KOA campground.

Alert over.
