Nice shots Nordie.

It was a bit cloudy here. I've taken heaps of the moon in the past (see post #204), and I couldn't be bothered setting up the tripod.

Waited over an hour as I wasn't sure what time it would appear over the hill.
Took the shot of the glow and ran inside to tell NordieMissus and when I got back out, it was up the height of the second pic.
200mm lens for the first 3 and added a 2x converter for the last.

OK, here's my best effort. Mrs Bart has hogged the telly, so I went outside and took this about 10 minutes ago.



300mm lens, tripod, timer, cropped in a fair way, with contrast cranked up a bit. Oh, and a few other fancy camera settings.

Moon is quite high in the sky, so very bright. Looks more interesting as it's rising or setting.

would you two stop mooning each other and take some bike photos
and we really really don't want to know about using shadows to highlight your craters
bloody dr riders

great to see that photo on the cover of that epic flyer thingy
I still think of that ride as a real high water mark
