That would be my bike sliding backwards on it's kickstand at the end of the video.
That Strom was worried that we were trying to plot a route through that and was trying to get away.

It had a right to worry.

OK, I'll admit I suffer from the "that guy never rides" or "his bikes are too clean" syndrome.

Loaded

At Crow....far right. (Solace was there too)

Dinner on the way home....with dirty bike as proof.

My favorite rider was about the fifth person we passed. He was an old guy wearing a fishing cap riding an ancient, rusty, upright 3-speed pedaling twice as fast as the "posers" in lycra shorts and on carbon framed bikes. That dude was awesome. -Mike

Luke- thanks again for leading the ride. That route around pike and bainbridge was especially nice since it was new to me. Makes me want to get out an explore a bit south of there.-Mike

My neighbor has been turkey hunting in my woods for the past 10 days or so.

Last week he had a few vistors.

These little guys were not afraid of him at all. He sat there and watched them play for hours. He noticed they kept pouncing on something....upon checking it out the were playing with a large snapping turtle that had crawled out of the creek to lay eggs up on the hill side.

Where can I find some shallow puddles to ride through? My GS is so clean, it just doesn't look right.
Also, how can i get my riding gear to look faded?

Go to Lowes, purchase an empty 5 gallon bucket ($2.99) and bag of top soil ($1.19). Next to the checkout is a cooler with bottled water, you'll need several (5x $1.29). If you go to the masonry department, you should be able to find some gloves that come most of the way up your arm ($9.99).

Now, this is where it gets a little messy, so you may want to trailer your bike to an off-site property, as to avoid dirtying up your garage/driveway....

Just put your jacket/pants on the roof and weigh it down with a few rocks. Turn it over every once in a while so it will fade evenly on both sides.

The day before bike night drive your mini van with your jacket across the grill. (for best effect do it at dusk) You will get very realistic bug splatter with this technique.

We can use sandpaper to get rid of those chicken strips as well.

Actually, I offer it as a service. Give me your bike, gear and $500 and I'll have you "authentic" in less than an hour.

One hour's work - started with clean bike and brand new pants:

Silly! These are options available when you buy a bile... Your dealer can still install the dirty bike option (dents and scratches at additional coat). The faded gear otion is only available for BMW gear... Although a little bleach and a lot of sunshine goes a long way if you aren't concerned about tear strength.
