I agree Royals fans do deserve much better. In the pre- Rockies era I was closest to a Royals fan as any team. I can't stand that MLB has allowed two franchises (Pittsburgh and KC) become basically Triple A plus.

I think MLB should look at a minimum payroll or some other solution.

Have you all seen the new Sony Playstation ad? It's amazing how realistic they have gotten.

I made the trek to Coors tonight. WHat a circus. Cuddyer hit a grand slam in the first inning, Cargo hit 4/4 w/ a walk and 2 rbi, Moyer was solid through 4 and the Rocks led 8-3 after 5. Then it fell apart with the bullpen and a couple of unearned runs given up. We got the heck out of there before the hailstorm. Once again a fan got hit in the head with a hard foul ball and left on a stretcher. The game stopped for 5-7 minutes. That happened on opening day too. Best wishes to those folks.

I saw instant replay used for the first time tonight. A Braves long foul ball was over the top of the pole and called foul, it was and confirmed to be foul. I'm glad replay is now in the rules for that kind of call.

A circus! Braves won 13-9.
