Got a speeding ticket. Fought the ticket and the court decided to give me a non-moving violation. Ticket was dropped to a no seat belt violation... I was riding a motorcycle.

Just goes to show how corrupted the system is now.
You are innocent until proven guilty, if they can't prove it, you certainly aren't guilty of a seatbelt violation on a motorcycle. Why not just install a big freakin wheel on the back of the cop car, set up a roadblock and have everyone step right up and spin "The Wheel Of Bogus Violation Fines!" |

That is the way it is in South Jersey, with LOTS of cops SERVING me tickets and PROTECTING me from having any money.
Then they have the balls to call for a pba donation. When they talk lay offs and cut backs, I am glad. That is one reason why I ride a TU250 now, hard to get tickets on it. Quote:

I bet it was the same asshole that pulled me over for being blown around my lane in a motor home by the never ending 50mph crosswind. Kept me for an hour for nothing.

I've had the opposite of most of you all. I've had my fair share of tickets (last cop told me 8 thus far, mostly for speeding), but have also gotten more than my fair share of warnings.
Managed to get pulled over one evening by a local cop, go through the "i have a concealed carry" ordeal, etc. He gives me a warning. Out a few days later (this time i happen to be driving my mom's car) with a friend. Get lit up again. I'm already pulled over before he catches up. I go through the motions. He stops, stares at me, looks at the car... "didn't i just pull you over a few days ago??!" ![]() Me: "oh fuck. Yep, that was me. How's the night going?" Friend is laughing is ass off by now Him: not even bothering to check my license again "for some reason i'm going to give you another warning. Slow down" Me: "Yes sir, you will never see me again. I promise" ![]() Had another just a few weeks ago. 62 in a 45. Told him i had a concealed carry permit, but was not carrying. Guess i was the first person to ever tell him that. Told me he really wanted to give me a ticket, but appreciated me being respectful enough to tell him. Another warning. Best was when i was stationed in Germany as a military policeman. Driving home after getting off 2nd shift through a small town, way above the 30km/h speed limit. Polizei stop me, angrily comes to the window. I go to hand him my paperwork, he sees the MP patch. "MP? haha, slow down." Then walks away.

My neighbor is a retired Navy officer and was coming home from the gun range with his GF and her kids in the Yukon Denali. At the w-bound HWY 94 Border Patrol checkpoint he gets stopped and the car searched because "our Gamma ray detectors went off". Fortunately he didn't get angry... you wouldn't like him when he's angry! |

When I had mid controls on my sportster I did it any time I felt like it. (grin) Now that I have forward controls I don't feel the need because I'm already confortable. (more grins)
