Goldie, is that a SW-motech rear rack or an Altrider? If it is an Altrider, how did you attach the SW-Motech top box to the Altrider rack.

This was a road that I was on. This bike just can't go past a road like this without going down it.

Yes, it is an Altrider rear rack

When I bought the SW-Motech I also bought the mounting plate for the TraX but ended up not using it.
Why have a plate mounted on a plate

I really like the Altrider and this is what I did to it







Had to install these spacers because the TraX bags have feet, you can see it on this next photo. The spacers I installed raise it just enough that the feet from the bags sit on the altrider rack with just enough pressure that the whole bag does not move. At the same time, the metal sheet under the Trax that slide into the four spacers does not touch the rack so it won't scratch it.
I've done 6000 miles without any problems.

Gentlemen, Little off topic but how do you guys make those red lines in your posts? I have seen it on other forums also. I am slightly 'puter illiterate but going to be retired soon and wonder. is it a program I buy or what? On my bucket list is to be able to use this laptop to it's full potential not just a glorified typewriter, after spending a lot of time on my new s-10 that is.. Thanks

You mean those red arrows and text in the pics above?

You need a photo editing program, such as Photoshop. If you're using a Windows computer, press START, (bottom left Windows flag icon), then go to ALL PROGRAMS, then click on ACCESSORIES, and under there is a simple program called PAINT. You can then load a file (picture) from the top left icon and then fool around with it, arrows and text and all, then save it. Very simple.
