To do with that photo above, mine and my dads E750LE have 4 fog lights ( 2 each side ) in place of the front indicators and the indicators have been move up ( angled upwards ), but had to drill holes in the top fairing. The lights cost around 50 each.Boy do they light up the road .But you can only switch on two lights plus headlights or the battery is eventually drained. They are PIAA fog lights for cars.

94 e900 Elefant F/S

First let me say I have been thinking long and hard about letting this bike go. It's just one of those bikes that get under your skin.

I was thinking of sticking it up in the local area G/L but you really draw the flakes and scamers. That and I want the bike to stay in the "Elefant Clane" where it should be.

So here we go.
The bike has just under 20,000 miles on her. I do have quite a bit of records on the maintance of the bike threw out its life time. It looks like it's been taken care of threw it's life time until it's last PO when he decided to ride it like a full out dirt bike. Thats when I got it. It needed some repairs which have all been done and parts that where missing OR needed to be replaced.

The Good:
Front fork seals are new.
New front and rear brakes.
Steel braided front and rear brake line and clutch.
New timing belts and valve check, carbs re-synd
New K-N flat panel air filter and carb re-jet kit.
All fluids and oil have been changed and flushed.
New Apprillia racing exhaust (not shown in pic)
Has the head light relay wiring mod.
Has a heavy duty regulator (hard wired in).
Has the starting kit.
Has front H/B crash bars.
Has the H/B rear panner mounts.
Bike has fresh white and black paint (no scuffs or scratches)
New art work (all decals).
New Gell battery (about 8 months old).
Good DID gold chain and three rear gears (42-44-46 tooth).
Two sets of tires (Street and knobbies - Kenda big blocks, not on bike)
Bike has the factory tool kit and maintance manul.
Has a dirt fender if you want to take the stock one off.
I do have a few misc. parts also.

Bike has had a lot of money put into it.

The bad (if you want to call it that):
It needs the front hand brake light switch (it's there but is bad- power does get to the switch).
The chain slider needs replacing. Was replace with a new rubber one and ...well lets just say it was junk. Needs a hard plastic one.
The stock front fender was broke when I got it. I re inforced the fork protectores and made heavy duty mounting brackets for the fender (fender is prefect).
The right side rear panel was repaired at sometime from the back side. It had a crack in it. As you can see in the pic's it looks good though and was done right.

Thats it...........

The bike fires right up on the first crank of the motor........never failed me!
It runs very well and pulls good.
Everything works on the bike as it should.
Since I have had it it has been rode on light fire trails.
When I got the bike i took it down to the fram and motor and checked everything. Anything that was wrong was replace with new OR good used!

Reason for selling:
I would like to get a newer bike for ADV riding. I can't bring myself to ride this bike they way I want to ride. That and it is easier to get parts for a newer one. I would keep it but I can not afford two bikes. That and I really want to see a Ductai owner end up with this bike.

Well thats about it.
I'll take best offer as I really don't know what kind of a price range to put on it. Any other bike would be no prolbem, I' m sure you understand. So Best offer takes it.
Bike is located in Sacramento Ca. I do have shipping places that can help.

This site is the only place the bike is listed for sale at this time........depends on intress.

You can send offers threw email if you want OR Email me and I'll give you a phone number to call and talk to me..
Email : Gone14s@aol.com.

First pic. is when I got the bike......the rest are what it looks like now.

Kurt

Dewy, I would pay for one just like that if you have the time to make another one. Let me know what you want for one!!!!!!!! My Email is in the post above. Just get ahold of me and let me know how much.......! I'll paypal you the funds. I would owe you one if you could do another one up for me. BTW: very nice job on it. You wont beleave how many of those you could sell right now!

As far as the bike goes, If it sell's it sell's, if it don't I'm not going to sweat it........I'll just ride it.

Dewey, I see your still running the narrow stock foot pegs.
You can get a wide and longer set that will fit from these bikes on ebay:

YAMAHA PW 50 80 TW 200 BLACK FOOT PEGS

I think you would like them alot better.......they are around 25.00

These have about a thousand miles on them and are barely marked by the chain, plus they're a lot smoother than the original material. I made them on a manual mill (no CNC) so it takes a couple of hours to whittle out a set. Would 75 dollars a set, shipped, be OK? That would include a complete kit of bolts, spacers and sliders.

I'll take a set, mine are all chewed up. I bet you could sell 40 sets without much effort.

I think he can too....it least 20 min.

The plastic he is using is some tough stuff. His work looks top knotch!
I bought new stock one and chewed it up in a week....it was rubber.

I just hope I'm not scraing Dewey off by bring his slides in to public veiw on other sites......I really want one for mine...!

Jay, maybe we could set this up where he could have these sets made by the 25th or so and do a group pay date or something.....of course if Dewey does not mind.

Flygirl and Jay, I talked to Dewey on the phone. He is going to make up 5 kits for now. He plans to have a few kits on hand if needed. Plans on doing a couple this weekend. So you are in if you want a set.

NOTE: Make sure that the kit you need has the 1 hole mount on the top of the slider or the 2 hole. Some of the bike had the one hole mount on the top and bottom and the other had two on the top and one on the bottom( like in the pic's above).

Dewey it was great talking to you.........thanks for helping us out with this item.

After looking at your website, I'd feel like a criminal keeping you from such beautiful artwork by having you whittle a chain slider out of Delrin. I'm glad I don't need one. :^) As a toolmaker, engineer, and appreciator of firearms as art and mechanical accomplishments, I can only say, wow. Absolutely beautiful work, and pleased to make your acquaintance.

All the best,
