I hear that road is as bad as the ones in WV, gravel strewn, potholed and full of crazy semi truck drivers. Stay away!

Right, avoid WV like the plague! The roads suck, full of slow fat rednecks with bad attitudes and shotguns! Flat and straight, except when covered in loose gravel and dirt from all the giant trucks!

What! All you guys got long gravel driveways and a 12ga or 30-30 by the front door?

Carry on.

NOTE: That WAS a V-Strom.

With this parking spot.

This road is not a dead end either.

Is that sarcastic and to keep away the tourists? Some of the best riding for twisties and secenery is in and around Marion, WV. Not too long ago it was one of the biggest riding destinations for people that were "over" Deals Gap. Has that changed? We loved it there. Plus the hotels allowed the bikes to go into the rooms. Very nice people. But then again, I don't live there, so I have the skewed "tourist" view.

NO! NO! JimVonBaden was correct. NOTHING at all to ride near Marion, Va. Just a few dead straight roads that senior citizens use to get to the local Piggly Wiggly.

Once they finished stripping away all the coal in WV the state was completely flat. They straightened all the roads. Didn't you get the memo?

No. Not at all. I don't have a 30-30. Oh, wait a minute. You said or, I thought you said and. My driveway is only 100yds or so, but the mile of gravel road getting to it freaks out my Nancy Boy sportbike friends.
