- install rear brake lever kevlar engine protection

Replaced front (16T) sprocket @ 11070 kms:

Not overly worn, but was starting to "shark":


Went fairly smoothly - simply removed the rear wheel (provide chain slack, room to work), pulled the clutch slave, sprocket cover, and chain guard, unbent the retaining washer, and unscrewed the countershaft bolt.

When re-assembling, put a little grease on the splines, and blue locktite on the threads....

Because it's shorter than stock, there's more wind on the helmet, but unlike the stocker, it's a nice steady push as opposed to the paint shaker machine type of buffeting I was used to. Almost no wind to speak of on the chest - that big kicker at the top makes a huge difference.

...now I just hope it isn't using coolant (I can smell some in the exhaust when I first start it cold)
