Nice picts you posted pluric. I just got back from riding western Nevada. Boy, the Tenere doesn't like deep sand much(as some of your earlier picts showed),but what does? Taking knobbies this fall. Other than stinkie sand, this bike is fabulous. Can't believe the stability. R.I.P.,my ex-GS12.

Me? Learn hi tekkie stuff? Never happen. I'm still tryin to figure what direction a compass points(if it ain't broke). Hadda good ride tho. Went several miles in ruts as much as 2 feet deep but tops were open enough the engine .etc didn't hit. Sage brush grew out over the ruts slamming into the Tenere. Lots of scratches. Makes me like the thing even more. I still have a deep conviction this Tenere is a big fat pig and am STILL amazed how little it acts like it. Quita bike.
