I bought a used Z-start pro and a scotts steering damper from a guy in NC who had hip surgery and wont be able to ride for a while.. both came off his Husaberg.. got them for less than an new Rekluse alone.. so good deal.. kinda. I also picked up a used, rebuilt by Woody rear 640 cush hub on an excel wheel.. I am bleeding money

I'm pretty tight on the mechanics, if you're buying dinner I can ride out there.

Couple of snaps from the BBA weekend:

Couple of ADV and a lone civilian bike at the work place:

I took the scenic route going to the campground:

The street ride on Saturday went well:

While packing up on sunday, after leaving my tent upside down to dry out and doing something else, I came back to find it doing horrific things to Terry's tent. Is that considered incest?

Umm, I believe that is MRT10X's tent, my tent would have fought off such indignity!

I just want to offer my sincere thanks to the people of "Section T" for cleaning up that mess. The site was pretty full of bottles and cans, and the effort to collect and dispose of it all wasn't trivial - especially on bikes. I know I've cleaned up my share of campsites and I just want you guys to know that I for one really appreciate it. Thanks.

Anyone want to do some little bike only but not too crazy pachaug loop riding this Sunday if the rain stops? The puddles should be nice and deep by then....
Will there be rocks? I'm still suffering from PTBBAD Post Tramatic Big Bike Adventure Disorder

Matt, I'd be in if it's either one of the last 2 weekends in June-I'm free those times. I missed it-looked like a lot of fun.

No no, you have it all wrong. I thought it was someone else, a retired firefighter, hence the feet up part. Everyone knows I respect the firefighters; anyone who runs into a burning building while the rest of us are running out deserves it.

What were you doing over here? Picking up a "friend"

Now back to the regularly scheduled broadcast...

weekend riding

friday night and still no real plans for some "Little Bike Crash-o-Rama" riding this weekend.....
I suppose I'll lock something down... I'll be there riding; either solo or with whomever shows up..

Sunday, 5/27/12 - 10am at the Beach Pond parking lot
..
I'll be riding the lower half of the Pachaug loop skipping the green falls water crossing and maybe skipping a single track section with some awkward rocks.. Perhaps riding the full loop (minus baby-head hill/mt. misery) or re-riding a few sections of the lower half..

The weather looks good as of now, 74 Degrees and partly cloudy..
The pace will be "as fast as we can go" but I'm not a particularly fast rider, I'm out of shape, and I have no desire to pass someone when in the woods.. So it would be quick but not a race.. I also have no problem taking a break at stops as long as they're not terribly long..

So that's my agenda.. who's in?
