I love old school science fiction and the Journey to the Center of the Earth is a great example of the genre.

If by strange, you mean really, really bad then I agree. Complete waste of time, I recommend avoiding all together.

Really I found the whole tempo of the film really interesting and the quality of the filming was great to, then again if your looking for "action all the time" this is not it..

Yeah you are right it features some resemblance, I actually found Drive somehow refreshing.

That's excellent. I did a search on Netflix for Slaughterhouse 5 when I first got my Roku, but came up empty. Glad to see they have it listed now.
BTW, Fahrenheit 451 was awesome in HD. Julie Christie circa 1970 =
