Hey thats good news , when testing we found out that a flat blade screw driver works the best for more gap. also To bend the angle once its on the bike with the same flat blade just stick it through and rest it on the head then pry out until the angle is right for your bike one side at a time & of course put a rag on the shiny things , Ok as soon as i run out of the current stock of nuts and bolt we can get SS button heads,

Hey, I wanted to pass along props to ManRacks for quality products that really solve a problem - and look good to boot. I like the way the well-designed rack keeps the bulk of the pressure off the plastic (& ultimately the exhaust & battery box). Plus the design transfers some (not all) of the weight off the flimsy subframe. Lastly, the anchor tie-down traingles (with slit) were the missing link. I was able to womp without the bags flopping up & down. Total success.

Now, if I can get that subframe reinforcement... before I conquer Baja....

sounds good mike thanks , cant wait to get them cut , speaking of that we are cutting 6 sets of final version Honda xr600r struts today and will be mailing a set off to there daddy Jeff , i have heard of a guy name steve in san fransisco, that has referred a few riders for the racks i make and would like to send him a free set for testing , anybody know who i am talking bout
