Here is my 2012 Ninja 250. I won it in my dealer's Ticket to Ride give away. So far so good, but I can't wait until the break in period is over!

This thread could use some TLC. Although my daily commuter is an F800S, I convinced my roommate to purchase a nice little 2010 Ninja 250 and wow, this thing can really go! I wouldn't mind having one for myself after riding this thing 50 miles back home and had no problems cruising at 90mph whatsoever. My next "Mini Sport Touring" Bike perhaps?

That looks comfortable. How much was it, and where did you get it done?

He's been making seats for about every bike I've had in the last few years from KLR's with back rests to "touring" Ninja seats. I've never even spoke to him on the phone, found him on Ebay originally. Just email him what you want and how you want it, send him your pan and in a week or so a new seat shows up at your door. This one was $195 but that included shipping back to me. That did not include me shipping my pan to him. Although all I did was buy a $40 ebay seat with free shipping and sent it directly to him so I could ride while he was making it. This thing has doubled my ride time before my butt starts to get sore, the extra width really adds support.

I miss my 250

I used to own a 250 and it was great. I have since moved up to an EX 500 but I still miss my little yellow bike. I bought it with some damage but fixed it up. Here is it after the repairs.

Bought the thing in March with 6,000 miles and it now has around 11,500 miles. It is my daily commuter and I enjoy everything from riding it to lubing the chain to doing the valves. I am somewhat tempted to buy a second Ninja.

Here it is a week after I bought it, ready for a 300mile shakedown ride.

Riding up the coast.

Did I mention it's an ADV bike?

Very nice. That was always my favorite color for that gen 250. DId you remove the silver flame stickers or did the OP?

Thank you, I threw up in my mouth a little when I first saw the bike but the color is growing on me.

I removed the decals the night that I brought it home, could not stand those decals
