First a note from Autostream: While I fought to get initial permission to start this thread a few years back, I am no longer a Moderator and cannot edit anything except my own posts. If you have a post moved or deleted or edited it was nothing to do with me, so please don't bother asking or complaining about it to me, the moderators will be the ones responsible.


Basic rules:


Price- You must include a price.

Location- You must include a location in the ad, the location under your user name may not be correct or specific enough.

No external links.- No links to ebay, Bikepoint or trading post etc. Directing inmates to external ads without links will also be removed.

Bumping- You may not bump you ad more than once per week(7 days) and must nuke the original ad if not you will lose both.

Pictures- Max 2 per ad if you want more have them as links.

Ownership - If its not yours you cannot sell it, ask your buddy to register and sell it himself. - Immediate family members excluded.

Content- Only bikes or bike related products or camping gear.

Correspondance- All correspondance to be conducted by PM not in the thread.

Compliance- Ads that do not comply with the rules above will be deleted and you will have to do a new one.

Expiration - Ad's expire after 8 weeks and will be removed from view.


How to help make the flea-market a better place:

When you sell it, or bump it go to "EDIT POST" at the bottom of your original post and then tick the "NUKE" box to delete the post.

If it is "Sold pending payment", add those words to your post.

If you have something to give away free please post it in the Pay it Forward thread HERE thanks.

If you have something you want to buy, go to the Wanted Thread

If your ad disappears it may have been deleted by a mod as it did not meet the rules or it has expired, please read the rules and re-submit your ad.

She now has about 13,000K's on the clock, but i haven't ridden her since April this year, so it is hard to justify keeping, rego was paid in November, so she is ready to go. She has the usual scrapes on the plastics, but i have always religiously changed oil and filters before the recommended intervals and i have 2 air filters, which are changed often.

BUMPING AGAIN!!! I've dropped the price to $8500 including RWC and Rego until July. The bike is located in Castlemaine, central Vic. I really need to move her soon so any offer will be considered!

I'm somewhat begrudgingly selling my 2010 Yamaha Tenere.
I've had this bike since new and have done just under 16,000km on it. It has been serviced and maintained better than the books tell me to. The first service was done by the Dealer I bought it off then the the next couple were by myself at 5000km. Serviced by Team Moto Cairns at about 10,000km and then again by myself at 15,000km. Always had a new oil filter during service.
The extras I've put on are- Oxford Heated Grips, Barkbuster Storm guards, Denali AUX lights (the second generation ones... they are BRIGHT), Bashplate combo from adventure moto (protects the water pump as well) and a trax top box with all the mounting plate gear etc.
I never did any of the airbox or exhaust upgrades that could be done because I found the power to be adequate for how I used it.
The only problem I had with the bike was when a tiny screw in the top of the fork rattled loose and sent a little bit of fork oil on me making me think something serious had gone wrong... turns out the screw just needed a bit of locktight to not vibrate loose again.
It will need a new rear tyre. I have deliberately not changed the rear yet because I figure I may put on a tyre the buyer hates so whoever buys it can let me know what they want on there. Obviously I'll cover all of that (unless you want a ridiculously expensive tyre!)
The only other thing I can fault is that a cat got to the seat cover so there are some claw marks in the cover of the seat. Never really bothered me too much as I had it covered with my sheep skin cover but I priced out a new cover at $150 from Yamaha.
Somewhat embarrassingly it had done almost all the km's on bitumen on a trip from melbourne up to cairns, across to the centre and back down the middle. Probably done less than 150km on dirt!... has definitely been ridden in the rain though!
I was hoping to get around $10,000 for it including rego until July and RWC but will let it go to an ADVer for $8500ono

Only reason I'm selling is because I have just bought a new Triumph Sprint GT. I just found myself doing more and more street km's with a pillion and the Tenere just didn't make sense anymore.

FOR SALE: 2006 Suzuki DRZ 400E. The bike has 8000 km on the clock that have been a mixture of trail riding, commuting and touring.The bike has nsw rego until July, and has all lights, blinker etc still on it. The bike has had it oil changed and oil changed every 3 rides and the air cleaned every 1-2 rides. The front Tyre is three rides old and the rear still has significant tread left on it. The plastics are in fairly good order, it does how ever have a few little rub marks from boots or from being in the bush. There is nothing wrong this bike and i have never had any issues with it. The bike has these extras:

2006 (10/05) Kawasaki Z750. Approx 22.5k km's. Great road bike for big K's as you're not in the "Hypersports crouch". I was comfortably able to do 900km days on this bike.

Reason for selling? I've been out 4x4'ing for the last couple of years, so the Zed hasn't been being used. I can't see me using the Zed much now I've got the KLR (I like dirt too much), so it's up for sale.

Rekluse auto clutch for XR650R all years. Can be hard to find ex USA.
This clutch was installed, ridden twice around the back yard and removed. Did not suit my riding style. Great for anyone with a clutch hand issue or if you are riding slow narly type trails. You cannot stall the engine with this clutch and you know what the XR is like to kick start on a rocky hill
