It's home

After several trips out of town I finally had time to go pick up the Tiger today.

Great ride home and I love the bike. It's got all the good qualities that I loved about the CBF and those I love about the DR. Should be a great all around bike, plus the sound of that triple is beautiful music.

My wife's comment as we rode away (her on her Street Triple) "I told you to buy a Triumph a long time ago!"

Bottom line first impression is this is the bike I've been waiting for someone to build for a long time. I think it will be perfect for me and the riding I do.

6,10,5,11,9 is all I got. The Rigid lights have all of their own wiring. I just needed a switch. I should get my brackets today to finish them up. I can't wait!!!

Yes bought from Bentley Motorrad. Sorry can't comment on their service as I do all my own servicing. We bought Jodie's Street Triple from them when they were still South West. The guys have always been good to deal with. We knew Dave, the general manager, back in Edmonton where we bought way too many bikes from him and it was always good dealing with him. From the Ducati forums they have one of the best Ducati techs working there.

I have TuneECU and a cable so if you're ever just looking to update maps etc. you're welcome to pop in and use it.

Thanks for the info. I also used TuneECU to upload the latest map although it took me two cables as the first didn't work. I may have them do the first valve interval service when needed.

Thought I'd show off my homemade lower wind deflectors. They work great at stopping the wind coming up around the tank and even helped quiet the wind noise a bit.

Just got my custom made crashbar bags by "Storm". Very good quality and reasonable price. I sent him a pattern for the SW Motech bars and they fit great!

Nah, just put an airbag or styro peanuts in it.

Or, you could just not crash. It's what I prefer.

What happens when you crash? Shit get's tore up! Until that happens, they make a nice place to carry spare tubes, patch kit, gloves, TP, etc.

Tried to find an answer with the search button, but had no success.

How do the giant loop bags stand up to the heat from the exhaust? I though I had seen a post where someone had melted a bag on their heat-shield.

I have the stock exhaust and am wondering if the bags will stand up, even in hot trail riding conditions?
