I'm headed to Moab with a brother the first week of Sept, what are the must do/see rides if we only have 4 days? (riding from Denver on Triumph 800 xc and a KLR with intermediate off road skills)

Here is a photo of Musslemans Arch in 2010.

The real reason for my post is I am heading out to Moab the week of Memorial Day and I was curious if anyone has ridden the Chicken Corners via Kane Creek Rd and Lockhart Basin Rd to Hwy 211 and then up to Needles Overlook. Here is the route.

I would be interested in what that route is like if anyone has ridden it. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

I did Lockard Basin from south to north in a Tacoma back in '07. I wasn't riding yet back then. You'll find spots with deep sand, lots of slick rock (great for riding on) and will have an incredible time. The worst spot is a place called the Ravine. Oh, you'll be doing a lot of stair stepping but it will be all downhill if you go S to N. Have fun and take lots of pics!

I live in central Utah and I've been here for about 9 months now, but I still haven't made it down to Moab. I'm looking forward to going sometime this spring or summer

Yep, Moab and the surrounding area is the dirt bikers Mecca. I hit it at least twice a year. Every time I go I find more interesting people and places to ride.
