I went outside..did not find a cool pool of water to sit in, so I came back inside to a balmy 68*...so unless I can sit in a body of cool water, I can not justify going out side.

Yeah, the GS is REALLY nice. I wish I had the bucks for it. Trent swears he isn't selling. After our last ride and all of the dust and not knowing where we were going (too much street) I just don't think Devin will ever be happy dual sporting. He bought a new Street Glide last Friday.

Yep it sounded like you guys really pounded the pavement last time out. It would have been a good day to be on the GS instead of the 690!

Very nice, He's gonna enjoy that ride! We test rode all the Harleys last year at BB&BBQ and a Street Glide would be my choice if I were shopping for one. If I were to ride alot of miles cross country though I still think I'd take the GS, racking miles up on a Harley just isnt appealing to me for some reason, and you never know what cool dirt roads you might be passing up.

this is very true! A few yrs ago when we rode to Stugis via the CA Redwoods, going thru Oregon, we went into the John Day Painted desert. We had 6 miles of dirt road and I was a nervous wreck taking the harely over it..if I had been on a GS, it would have been a much more enjoyable trek

Don't look at the Frog Bayou thread.
Someone else visited it and made it in where Doc turned around due to a washout or something. ![]() Said it wasn't that tough...... Doc just HOW wide is your Comfort Zone? ![]() Don't tell Gus and Magoo there might've been an easier way out either.... :shhh
