It has failed at the top, right below the bolt.

Would you recommend getting a used one or welding the trashed one?

I admit that I didn't treat the side stand very gently but I believe it's kind of rare to get that, especially on a 2000 model...
I would buy a new one.

Air filter is super dirty. Waiting on the new one to arrive. I'm thinking that is my problem. I'll find out in a couple of days. I hate the mini indicators, I'm considering modifying the pannier rack.

If you can avoid that Arizona red clay/mud...well... you'll be just fine.

I personally like the OEM AT front fender setup...but if your looking for change i would suggest African Queens website for some ideas.

Yeah that would be ideal, but for now I will have to go for a less costly solution. I found a used one for 25 euros, which is acceptable even as a temporary solution (I can't use the bike right now, too risky).

The question is this: Will an RD04 stand fit on an RD07?

The one I found comes from a 95 model, mine is a 2000. It's the whole stand, with the triangular metal and the left peg...

95 would be an RD07 and yours an RD07a so that should bolt on without a problem as far as I know. haven't tested it though

I have got Transalp 650 carbs in my AT RD03, but with stock air filter engine run to rich, I've made own intake like this did a short test and it seems to work well.
