Crested Butte, CO to Hwy 133
Planning my trip in Colorado for late August and have a question about the unpaved road between Crested Butte , Colorado and Highway 133. Kebler Pass and Panoia Reserve located inbetween. Is it a single track road? Would it be passable during that time of year? It would be my first try at offroad riding on my Suzuki 650se with the original equipment Trailwing tires. Main question, is it doable for a newbie and the bike? Guessing the mileage at 25 miles,

Kebler Pass is a well maintained gravel road that tourists drive over in their Honda Accords...

Ohio Pass, to the south, is also an easy road.
Take a few minutes to check out the graveyard where the two roads meet.

I went up a road off keebler called Lost Lake or something similar that was worth the slightly bumpy ride.

Kebler Pass in Fall is in the middle of the largest living organism on this planet. A huge Aspen Grove that is awesome in late September. A well maintained gravel road.

I have been over Kebler and Ohio passes several times on my 1980 goldwing. You should not have any problems.

Now that's what I'm talkin about., smooth road, great scenery. Should be a great ride. Thanks for the pictures but I don't want to see too many, will spoil the ride, kinda like knowing the end of the book or movie. lol Believe I will do the Ohio road too and maybe the one from Altmont to Tin Cup. Too many roads, all kinds of time. Thanks
