Nope not a member of this forum. He has been shopping hacks for the last 1o years and finally decided now was the time. I'll pass on a link to this thread and see if he has any interest in joining.

That's a recommendation I'll certainly remember--especially coming from a guy who built his own shop. Nice blog. I read it all the way back to the first post of your Scrambler Cycle shop being built.

Sounds like you might be interested in a sidecar?

The owner is still quite happy with his rig. Feels it a great setup and working well for him.

The subframe on the KLR is pretty much a "need to have". DMC makes a good one.

Man I love it! Just bought my KLR and down the link to outfit it to a sidecar! I want to do a ride from Orange County, CA to Alaska with my wife and my dog. Looks great!

Another KLR that I just finished up.

'95 KLR and a Velorex 562 with upgraded swingarm. I think the owner might even be a member here.

I got a 562 from Hahnda for my '04. It came with the DMC subframe. I couldn't be happier. It quickly replaced my Strom as my daily driver. Lots of looks and comments on it. I posted a build thread back in November.
