Yup the chain came off, I just dropped off the stone step and the front wheel disappeared and over the bars I went
I reckon the stone I dropped off hit the shark fin on the swing arm and pushed the chain off. It was thick snotty mud and it took 4 of us to heave it out!

Nice!

Are those this year? Things are opened up?

Any luck with Hurricane or California? (I think they plow Eng/Cin).

Those photos are from yesterday

The road grater was at work on the road down by Silverton. So it was nice and smooth until the pass itself. (where we have decided that my gearing SUCKS for this right now time for a -1+2) Found myself on a bit of a ledge on one of the pass switch backs with not enough grunt, or traction to really get the bike to climb. Its these moments of shear terror thinking you are going over backwards off a 1,000 cliff that keeps motorcycling fun It was also over heating on the climb....so dual fans are also no the list.

Statements like that make me wonder if I should convert my 990 into a 100% road bike! Anybody got a little 250 they want to sell me cheap?

Look how far the sprocket is from the spokes. Talon have adapted a narrow wheel to fit the Adventure by making an overwide sprocket carrier. That cannot be right?
