Based on this thread's recommendation I watched Drive as well and thought it was really good. The same guy who did Drive did a great viking movie called Valhalla Rising.
Also very good and streaming. If you liked Drive you will like this.

Street Law (Il cittadino si ribella)

Street Law (Il cittadino si ribella) - 1974

This is an awesome, gritty 1970s Italian crime drama. A crime victim turns vigilante, going after the group that beat and held him hostage during a post office robbery. The acting is pretty bad, but it grows on you. The soundtrack is awesome despite it being poorly mixed. A must see.

didn't realize it was the same filmmaker, I loved Valhalla rising, now I've added drive to my personal list to see.

Love this thread!

NETFLIX was great. Now that they have no new movie content, and that they have angered customers by raising prices, what is the use. Do I still use netflix? Yes, but I am very disappointed with the way that they run the service. I believe that it is time that they get some new management with new positive ideas running the show.

I'll give you that the price hike was boneheaded...

But the content issue is not Netflix's fault, but instead the fault of the studios refusing to get with the times and allow streaming of their content.

A big hit came when Starz dropped their content, but I have to say Lilyhammer kicked ass so I have a lot of hope for their original programming.

And Netflix is great in that it has so many of my DVD's I barely have to use them, that plus all the TV shows I go through make it easily worth it.

Not a movie, but watching Burn Notice for the first time now. Much better than expected -- I'm about 5 episodes into season two. Quite a hilarious show at times and Bruce Campbell is awesome as usual.

I tried watching Valhalla Rising last night.

I found the pacing to be very similar to Drive, and the cinematography to be excellent, but I just couldn't get into it. I ended up shutting it off a little over half way through.

Watched this early Robert Rodriguez movie the other day. It really surprised me how good it was.

About time:

Netflix will be expanding its streaming offerings a bit next year, thanks to a content deal struck with the Weinstein Company's Radius-TWC distribution label.
