Vice Guide to Karachi, Pakistan

There are 5 parts, each as interesting as the others. This is part one. Not cool, but definitely amazing (and worrying) footage since our 'real' news channels are busy hyping garbage and celebrities.

If you, or anyone else, liked that, but aren't aware of VICE, I strongly suggest you spend the time to find the other "VICE Guide To _____" (like... Liberia) series videos. There is a lot to learn about the world, but our NEWS sources limit themselves to ... I won't go there and preach. Anyway, VICE has other "news" videos that aren't as daring, but it's almost always certainly a different take on what there is to report about.

By the way, gunna, thank you a ton for that video. It brought back my ZX-7R days to me vividly, and it's just either too bad that I live in a flat- & straight-road state now, or ... it's the best thing that ever happened to my longevity.

^^^^ That's in fantastic condition Bully... Original, or reconditioned?

As you know most likely, that was the model where they abandonned the original 3 cylinder two stroke engine (and all it's idiosynchracies) for the V4 fourstroke powerplant. So no more "rin tin tin" sound for the Monte Carlo...

Love the spoke alloy (rally period authentic) wheels on yours... there's a SAAB 96 or two in here...

It was reconditioned in Sweden about 15 years ago before being brought into Australia by the original owner, as for the wheels they are the Ronal "minilites "made for SAAB, I have another set from my old SAAB 99 rally car. I sold the 99 a few years ago along with my other 5 SAABs and just kept the 96 and a few bikes.

I was surprised they crashed the sump on the Tenere and acted like it was the bike's fault lol... And the BMW overheating wasn't what I expected in cold weather. That long curved swampy mud-rut up the hill is to me "serious" off-road in the sense that you never would do that on the gravel / easy adventure stuff, adding mud + long climbs in the rain in a rooty single track is not "just easy trail riding" imo.

The Triumph seemed to do reasonably well and since I'm an unrepentant Triumph luvah that was good -- too bad he busted the lever (and um, going off road where you need to remove mirrors, but not having spare levers?).
