How do you play a T-50 without dying?

You don't, leave it home if you want it alive.

Well tonight sucked....I'm about 5-15 at this point, including 9 losses in a row....all due to stupid teams.

At least, an effective T-50 or T-50-2 driver will scout the entire time. I think I've actually seen some T-50-2 drivers who end up living through it all, but ... my word ... they put a lot of effort into scouting and driving in random ways that have teams wasting a ton of time and ammo on them.

Edit: Not sure how tough this would be, but T-50 drivers should earn a little extra XP for every missed enemy shot that lands or goes past them in a 10 meter radius.

I haven't yet played one, but to be good at them would take a whole new skill-set and memorization of all the maps' undulations that I just don't have.

Well, they don't make the 50-2 easy to get - 65k xp grind. For a Tier 6. An awesome Tier 6, but still. I don't remember other 6's costing that much.

Holy crap. I lived through one. And was rewarded nicely.

It's a 55k grind to get the Chaffee, so the 50-2 isn't really out of line.

Not quite - you need to be less aggressive, and stick closer to friendly heavies so they can keep the opposition distracted.

When a game has multiple T50's, they need to spread across the field so the opposition expends fire and energy out against the scouts, and the friendlies can give the opposition a warm welcome-to-the-game.

Quite true - and I'd go for that!

I've got the Chaffee and both 50's. It was a -long- grind to get them, and it's been worth it.

The average 9K repair costs on the Chaffee and the T-50-2 make them uneconomical to play if you don't have a premium account.

T-50-2 achieved.

Not running it until I get more bling, needs suspension and the upgraded turret.

I have found that the time of day has a great deal to do with how I seem to do. During the day my tier 6-5-4 tanks end up on the top third about 50-60% of the time....after 5pm I will be lucky to get out of the top 4 with those same tanks.

I stayed home from work yesterday and played off and on between sleep, and I think my win loss ratio was 6:1....after 5pm I am lucky to do 1:6....and those wins are me adding to the team...I would have 4-5 even 7 kills in one game....after 5, I just hide or guard arty and get lucky shots on one scout, or badly hurt heavy here and there.....I will bounce 4 shells off a JS-8 and get a thanks for trying from the arty I was trying to protect.

After 5pm I usually just play my tier 2 tanks and in those games I do very well....much more fun, but at night with the mid tier tanks....you are just food for the big guys.....they sure need to fix that.

I have also decided that the 76 on the sherman is usless....but then again I did not try it till last night....I usually run the 105 (I think).

Have fun chasing the enemy arty down and raining on their parade!
