Wow! Your rendition of the Exxon Valdez looks great. That's a lot of work but very nice.

I'm looking for a rear wheel hub with sprocket carrier for an RD04. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks.

Hi everyone, hope everyone had fun on their bikes this weekend. What is everyone running for front and rear sprockets, what gas mileage your getting with your setup and speeds, top and cruising speeds and what you would consider maximum RPM.

Hi, I'm running stock sprockets. I'm getting around 350 kms before hitting reserve.

I have a calm riding, randomly going above 120 km/h, average, 100 km/h.

At 5.000 rpm, speed is around 105 km/h.

There is an Idle Drop Procedure included in the Official Shop Manual (not the Haynes) that makes ALL of the difference for increasing your mileage per tank... together with a good set of spark plugs and a good quality air filter, on a non-leaking airbox, with good-working chokes and correctly synchro'ed carbs... this procedure does really make a difference. Previously, I was hitting reserve as low as 280/300 kms on the tank... under the same riding conditions. So I gained an extra 50/70 kms by this procedure alone...
Well worth checking this IMHO.

Mind you, this procedure is different for the various AT models... mine is an RD07a.

Went up to Banff today for a short ride like I always do this time of year. My riding buddies had much faster bikes than me.

Some wildlife.

Congratulations Gian Paolo?

You are the Paganini del Aluminio!

If I could do these things you are creating, I would happily abandon my line of work (well paid network engineer in the States). You are really an artist who loves motorcycles dearly.

Anyone know if Bembro break calipers will fit on the Boano fork kit or do we have to use the Nissin calipers? The reason I ask is because there is a set of KTM 950/990 forks (only) for sale on the flea market and even though its only the legs and I would have to source the calipers, triple clamps, axle, wheel & rotors etc. I was just wondering if it was worth it to do a front end conversion this way or go with the Boano? Also as far as parts go for the Boano where do we get the consumable parts? Anyone have experience with the Boano rear shock, how does it compare to the Ohlins?

Thanks for the input
Keith
