Hey Albie! You all healed up? I was wondering if you had thought about Blanchard Springs this weekend.

The thing Matt was talking about my videos, the mini lap top computer that I took to Colorado and Moab did the same thing. I think it has something to do with the video card in the puter!

You Kids have fun and be safe. Won't make it to the camp out this time, (wonder if i was even invited after last time ?) sure enjoyed it last time. Anyway, my son and wife are on a mission trip to Canada. I have dog watch duty. been trying to get all the logs milled and brush hogging done. Town House sounds good bout now. Ya, a town house with a 40 x 80 air conditioned / heated shop. that's the ticket. anyway have fun and hope everyone gets back safe.

Protondecay123, I have been losing any sense if in fact I ever had any to begin with. I'm more stupid and not as tough as I used to be. Wish the body would go ahead and transfer that information to the brain, stupid hurts !.
At the stage now where I say " man I used to be tough " that makes me forgetful and delusional at the same time !

btw, was at Mt Magizine hiking when the guy feel off the bluff. Wondered why choppers were flying around so we asked the folks at the visitor center what was going on when we got there. sad deal.
everyone ride safe. !

I agree growing up is a bitch. However the oldest guy in our group was 55 and he stayed out all day on the Blue Loop and then took his Super Ten up Warloop. I was thinking its gonna take a lot of working out to get there

On that part of the Blue Loop before that wide open area we saw a huge Black Bear. At the bottom of the hill where the Forest Service Road is two of us bailed out on our Super Tenere's. We were beat!

I know what you mean. It didn't take long to work up a sweat that day but it sure was fun! I have seen a black bear but not around here. I know that they exist cause my buddy saw one not far from there. We had a map but we didn't have a clue where we were. I got that gps route of the Blue Loop that Doc posted on the Slap Trax thread now tho.

In the three days I spent on White Rock I saw Black Bear each day. I saw one on Fanes Creek Road and another on Bowles Gap Road. That area is crawling with Bear!

Burger Barn Ride 6/13/12

Finally got well enough to get back on the bike so Charlie and I decided to head on over to the Ozone Mountain Burger Barn. Here are a few shots on the day and a couple of videos too.

After meeting in Huntsville and having our morning coffee we headed on out and it was a great day for riding, high of the day going to be about 83 or so and only problem it is dry...very dry. So lotsa dust but we just spread out and had no problem since there were only the two of us.

Here's the Master after performing his morning duties

Most of you locals will recognize the places in the video but hadn't gotten any for a long time so wanted to post up a few. This first one doesn't have the GPS data as I was in tree cover and didn't get a gps lock.

Click the full screen button for a better view of the ride.

We arrived at Burger Barn about 11:30 as I remember and had the place to ourselves.

Burgers were good but the flys wanted em worse than we did I think.

Nice comfortable picnic area set up and ready for anybody that stopped by.

This guy looked like he had been hunting for a long time but didn't say much.

After our burger and fries, we mounted our trusty steeds and headed on back toward St. Paul where we both split and headed for the house.

Great day, sure was good to get out again.

Later.

btw, your videos play just fine, in both screen sizes for me.

there are some quality setting differences between what you are recording and what Oleary is recording i think.
