A Killer Result at Kielder....
After some heavy rain, we saw what was a wet and dirty weekend for the two day Kielder K2 Rally, the first Round of the UKRC.
After day 1 I was 1st in class and 2nd overall after loosing out to Lee Kelly who set some blistering stage times on the Satruday. It was super slick riding and I made a couple of silly mistakes which lost the odd few seconds here and there. I improved on test times throughout the day but so did Lee which saw him take the lead by almost 20 seconds. An early night and a good nights sleep was in order to recover the situation on day 2. Day 2 saw me lose out on the fastest special test time of the day by just 3 seconds to young Ollie Lloyd who really nailed the last test of the day however, consistency was the key on the Sunday and I completed the last two special tests on Sunday within 1 second of each other to take the overall win on the Sunday by 11 seconds from Ollie. Lee Kelly was unable to finish day two which saw me leap to 1st in class and 1st overall. A very successful and enjoyable weekend and to come away with the win and no injuries ahead of the FIM World Cross Country Round in Sardinia in two weeks was a great relief. Pics are coming but I'm massively under pressure trying to get ready for Sardinia at the moment. I will charge the camera and have it to hand at all times. Also, Rally Radio call-ins are scheduled too ![]() Anyone know of a good PA?!

Great vide Pyndon, Ibthought I was quick in the ruts until I saw this and then remembered that Loz tells me I'm only quick at picking the bike up before the camera's are out.....

No way! I'm still at the start paddling my way through the ruts. I have a mind to 'dislike' the video, since I'd rather he slowed down a little, as I want to see him sitting on top of the finish ramp in January.
