There are jerks and braggarts every where. If I wrote a post on just 1/2 of the ones I meet I would have to take a vacation day once a week. I am not real bright but I did stay in a holiday inn express last week. You rode 330 miles in 3.5 hours. That's an av of 94 mph. I bet you made a good impression on every one you passed. Judge not.

If you ever meet me parked at a motel then, by all means, fill up the space.
Yeah....and when you come out in the morning and they stole your bike but not the other, how ya gonna feel?

I park my GS in the room (always request a bottom floor room).

I like it, and I'll look for it on an Aerostitch T-shirt one of these days.

Picked on, but not so paranoid! Do you wanna talk?!

Besides, who in their right mind would steal a GS? It's too effing ugly and has no chrome.

I went to a bmw rally in huntsville al a few years ago. the park that was hosting it was pretty full when i got there, and there was a lot of mud, so decent places to pitch a tent were hard to find. there was one pull in camping spot where there was room for my r1100r and tent. There was already a camper there (Sprinter) but no one was around, so i went ahead and pitched my tent. when the guy came back, he was none too thrilled. He told me to stay out of the way.

oh, he had his bike mounted on the bumper of the Sprinter - it was a Suzuki.

These GS12s are big bikes. You could have parked perpendicular to his bike where he would have to muscle his bike around you with a 38 point turn. Oh yes, put your steering lock on and turn his kill switch to OFF then sit back and watch the show.

Maybe he traded up to the BMW from a Harley and forgot to trade up the attitude too?

I usually park in my garage but occasionally park out in front of the apartment; there's a bike taking up one parking spot but parked in such a way that not only can I park my ride there but some other person parks there too. I'll bet we can get 4 bikes in the same parking spot. The strange thing is that we live in the same building (10 apartments) and I don't think we know know who rides what; hell, I don't even know my neighbors and I've been here three and a half years.

Is this a distinctly American thing i.e. trailering a GS around the country? just wondering. I'd have let the fucker's tyres down.

Mostly a cruiser/chopper/dirt bike thing. Although we do love to trailer stuff. And most of the crap we trailer can move on its own power. Go figure.

This is Woof. I'm trying to find a good home for her and she is not only super friendly but quite happy to curl up and go to sleep on my bike seat. (She'll need a lift up there though, still too small to jump that high). When would you guys like to come and pick her up?

Same here. You cover you plate in public and you get a ticket. You fail to cover it on the internet and people have a cow...

Beside, they guy drives a Honda Element. I thought you had to have a vagina to drive one of those...

Aside from all that, the guy had a trailer and motorcycle already in a parking spot. Putting a bike there might of blocked his vehicle door access. I don't know. But, minor prick violation in my opinion. Frankly, if the guy didn't want anyone parking there, he should of positioned his bike differently.

Isn't it customary for motorcycles to share parking spots. Look at it from this angle: If you pull up to a parking lot in a car and see only one motorcycle per spot, wouldn't you wonder why the motorcycles where not sharing spots???

Am I wrong in suggesting that motorcycles should park two to a spot by default???
