I love these threads!
![]() Trailer boy is leaving his new polished GS overnight... uncovered/unchained... on the centerstand?... at a Motel 6? OP tore up the road to cover 330 miles in 3.5 hours... to get to a Motel 6? The soap and the towels are the same size... at least the lights are on... Thanks Tom!

A comment from another member who had an informal ADV event in KS.

Besides, the OP seems like a great guy and he rides a GS. He could have parked in my space anytime.

Bored-Reading old threads......
It probably took all the energy the fat guy had to get the GS pig outta the trailer and parked there. He was just standing there trying to get his wind back!
Having pretended to be a BMW master tech for three years, I've seen my share of posers on the shiny unridden GS's. No different than the HD's or....... Don't you dare park your shiny chrome bike next to my GS! Some of my dirt might fall off and ruin your saturday's efforts. I don't like watching grown men whine and sniffle.

Harley and BMW riders are fake. KTM riders are searching for a solution to their weaknesses. KLR riders are there...

What a tool that GS rider is. In London, if you park your bike inconsiderately, it's not totally unheard of to find someone has helpfully moved your bike into a position that will allow other bikes to park alongside yours.
