Since these pics I've added forged 5-Spoke Marchesini wheels...what a difference! The bike handles so much better, and the suspension isn't the bone-jarring experience in the city it once was.

Just picked up a 2007 GT1000 two weeks ago and really enjoying the ride. Appreciate the comments on the thread and was wondering if anyone is still following since the last post was a couple of years ago.

Hi Morgan,
My GT is red, straight stock with the exception of the Ohlin forks, 4500mi. Not sure how to post a photo...I'll work on that.

Will get some proper pics soon but on my arrival my wife sat on and laughed at the crappy cruiser screen. The screen is now ditched. the bike has a hugger on the rear along with a rear rack, not the only rack in the pic I might add, and a front mudguard extender. I need fruity pipes on this as it sounds like a freakin honda.

MPG all depends. I got around 45-50 prior to putting the Fat duc o2 sensor on. As you have probably noticed it is jerking and rough in first gear. The fat duc fixes this but when on 3/4 setting lowered my milage to 33. I recenty lowered it to 1/3 position and has increads the milage up to 38-40. Cheer on a great bike.

Ducati.ms has a wealth of info on these bikes.
