WTB a small utility trailer. It needs to be big enough to hold a 800GS and a dirt bike, but small enough to tow with a sedan. A 4x8 or 5x8 single axle trailer is probably about right. Let me know what you've got.

cool moto-trailer, despite it's meek appearance, it is very sturdy!
perfect for 2 or three dirt bikes or one larger bike; just towed my bmw f560 from california.
super well balanced and smooth. ride.
comes with a spare.

Thanks for keeping an eye out. That homemade one looks dangerous. The three rail one looks nice, but I think I'm going to hold out for a utility trailer so that I can get more use out of it now that I don't have a truck. If something doesn't turn up soon I will go with a new one. JB sells a 4x8 for $550. I figured I'd see if anyone has one they want to part with first.

^That's still on the list of possibilities. In order to finish it up it would run about $500 with tax and cost me a day of fooling with it. I saw one at JB Trailer World that is one degree or so sturdier than an HF trailer. At $795 it's more than I wanted to spend, but it seems perfect (built in ramp that slides in to no aerodynamics loss, 3 fold down wheel chocks!) and would not require any assembly. It's all metal and powder coated, so I wouldn't ever need to replace the deck.

this is the way to go, but you WILL need to replace the deck in about 2-3 years.....

WTB: Roof Top Cargo Box

WTB: Roof Top Cargo Box

Me, the wife and dog are road-tripping to Bryce, Yosemite, and the northern California coast... would like to find a roof top storage box (Thule, Yakima, etc). I've got a Thule rack, so just the box is fine.

If any kind inmate has one they'd like to let me borrow, I'd consider "renting" it from you, too.

Thanks!

I have one, not sure of the model but it's narrow and long and it locks. I don't anticipate using it in the near future so feel free to borrow it for as long as you need it. I'll be in Denver tomorrow afternoon/evening if you want to arrange a place to meet. It's a few years old and only used twice (by me) for moving. Picture below is from a while ago.

Thumb 1999 BMW F650 Classic "Funduro"

Up for sale is my beloved 1999 BMW F650 Classic, named by the factory the "Funduro". This Aprilla designed bike is often called the best bike ever built by BMW because of the Aprilla design and the bullet proof Rotax engine. My bike has 28,362 (and counting) miles. If you know about these bikes, you will know that they are fun, reliable, forgiving bikes that are great for commuters, beginners into the adventure bike segment, or younger/female/smaller entries into the wonderful world of BMW's. It has the following upgrades;
New (less than 500 miles on them) Metzler Tourance tires
A used (ebay) Corbin saddle
The factory seat
A torn factory seat I was going to send off to have a custom seat made
Factory trunk & city side cases (all use same key) and mounts
De-smogged
CDI/rectifier relocate done
New battery 3/2012
New within 1000 miles non o-ring chain and both sprockets (front 15 tooth to make it peppier in town/offroad)
New (in box) o-ring chain and both sprockets
spare oil filters
Mirror movers
Oil temp gauge dipstick
Factory flyscreen
Factory original windshield (badly scratched and clear coated - thanks unhonest ebayer!)
Heated Grips
Spare set of Metzler Karoo knobbies at 75% or better
Clear Colorado Title
Complete factory lowering kit (dog bones, side stand, center stand) to drop the bike 2" (great for ladies, young riders, those short on stature)
Factory engine guard
Kickstand bottom plate

I got this bike from another ADVRider member to jump into the Adventure foray. I did not like how heavy it was off-road (as compared to a KTM) or the unforgiving plastic body work, so I never took it off-road. I bought all the stuff to raise it up from the lowered height and rode it around town as my daily fun bike. The quick release lockable luggage comes in handy and I'd have no problem loading it up and driving cross country. I bought another bike and promised the CFO that this one and another one would go to compensate. If serious, call me (Cramer) on my cell - 970749323six.
$3200 for inmates!! Thanks!
