Very Funny Tom
[QUOTE=Infracaninophile;18834642]I have the titanium Touratech funnel. Works great. Looks great. And only costs $379.95 on sale. I highly recommend it.
Tom PS: That's sarcasm. Any auto parts stores has 5-10 different kind of long or flexible or whatnot funnels that work just fine for the airhead oil or final drive or trannie fills. Wise not to give Touratech any more bright ideas, I already feel inadequate, browsing through their brochure.

Neat funnels. Got them in the mail today. They should do the trick for shop use-- I have a couple of on_the_bike/on_the_road solutions already.
Thanks!

Shipping charges update
Due to several multiple funnel orders, I decided to leave shipping cost at $3.00 for up to three funnels, anything above that will be actual shipping cost rounded up to the nearest dollar. ( Those bubble mailers cost money too.
Thank you for your business. |

Funnels for oil in frame bikes
Just a quick heads up about a product I sell in the Vendors section.
It's a funnel that is perfectly suited for just about every oil in frame bike I've come across. It also works well for filling forks and it's small enough to take on extended road trips with you. Here it is in use on an XR650L: ![]() ![]() As you can see it comes in four colors to compliment your bike ![]() and here is the link to the vendors section. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=796073 Moderators, please nuke this thread if this thread is out of line, thank you. |

When I posted this in the Airheads section I got a whole bunch of responses from riders telling me about their solutions to easily top off the oil on their bike of choice
I'm surprised to not have gotten a single one on this forum. You can't tell me that Thumper riders are less involved. I know better since I own one. If you don't tell me about yours I can't try and talk you into mine. Come on, let's get involved....I'm trying to sell a product here |

Goading
Obviously goading doesn't work either.
I can't believe that out of 200 views nobody felt compelled to make any kind of comment, Good- bad or indifferent ( I guess the lack of comments indicates indifferent Show me what you're using now that you can actually take with you on a roadtrip. |

I've been looking for a long time for those skinny French Curve shaped funnels they used to make for getting around the fairing on sportbikes. Can't find 'em anywhere now.

I have a long skinny one
that does anything those do. $0.89 iirc. I think people overcomplicate the easy stuff.

I took a gear oil container and cut the bottom and some of the sides off to make a funnel for weird applications like this.
The last time was out riding/camping I needed to top off my oil and did not have my speical funnel. Found that by turning the steering all the way to one side, I could get the bottle in close enough to pour the oil in cleanly. HEck I don't even think I am going to need to use a funnel for filling oil at home anymore. I think comments like mine are ones that you should not post in someone elses ad. BUt you wanted them "good or bad". If I was in the market for a new funnel though. The ones you are selling do look like they can be very useful in all kinds of aplications.
