Are These Legal?

Bunch of 12 year old riffraff holigans terrorizing my neighborhood on these things. And tell me I smell like butt. But the 2-stroke haze lures me. Should I call the cops or join the acne gang? Nothing is sweeter than the drones of one of these at 2 AM.

Wish they had the technology to build these when I was 10, but then again I had a Honda 50 minitrail -- not a two stroke but way cooler.

Solution - lift one of the sidewalk slabs in front of your house 3/4. That should do it.

They are sooooooo illegal around here.

I think the droning drew small arms fire and that was that for the yuppies.

Cool little toys, though. Ever ridden one? The fat tired ones are okay, the shopping-cart-tired ones set up for racing do their best to try and kill you, IMHO.

I can't recall being quite that fearless as a kid...then again...

Saw a kid going balls out downhill doing about 40. Looked about as stable as a mental patient on LSD. No helmet, no clue, immortal. Ah, the chance to be young again. I think they might be illegal around here, but the kids don't care and bait them. Like the CHiPs episode with the go-carts.

These things piss me off. Here is my take.

I want to dual sport a bike that already has CA emissions (4stroke), register it, insure it and ride legally. But I can't.

But these things and there drivers are : Not insured, Not licences drivers, Not registerd vehicles, Not smog legal, Under age drivers.

I DON"T GET IT !!!!

They have never taken drivers training, so they do NOT know the rules. I am hoping one of them rams my truck, so I can take his/her parents to court.

I can hear one come'n for three blocks as it gets close to my house and for another three blocks as it passes and starts to fade away....Worse sound than a HD with straight pipes
