Along those lines, just recently Leno's Garage featured a rider from a pre-1916 motorcycle Cannonball run - makes for a good interview, but not hyped up for typical American audiences like the video you posted:

Edit. I am guessing it to be 25'

I fell 28' back in 1991 and walked away. (not knowing that I had compression fractured my heels and neck) Adrenalin is a funny thing.
