The trip home. If you have not ridden 39 from Marlinton to Warm Springs, you are cheating yourself out of one of the premiere motorcycle roads in the area. I didn't get any pics, so you'll have to take my word. 220 from Warm Springs to Covington is pretty nice as well. We had breakfast at our favorite dive in Covington and headed south on 18 and then crossed the Rich Patch Mountains on 657, 619 and 616 over to Eagle Rock.

Scenery was admired,

and turtles were rescued.

Oh, I also saved one of those recently. He was crossing the street and taking his time.

And a few weeks earlier relocated this feller off the gravel in Moshannon State Forest. Same snake in each photo, different lighting.

For every critter save I get reward points from Enduro Dan.

From Eagle Rock we took 43 over through Buchanan and up to the BRP, another very nice road. 80 miles on the BRP down to Tuggle's Gap was kind of a grind, but it was worth it to stay up high, out of the heat.
