![]() Church in Kona, NC. This is the church where Charlie Silvers is buried, in three graves. It seems that his wife, Frankie, came home and found Charlie in the company of another woman. She killed Charlie and hacked him up and scattered his body parts around the area. As new parts of Charlie were discovered they just put them beside the precious grave. His grave, shown here, has one head stone and three foot stones. You can see it better when the grass has been mowed. ![]() Frankie was the first woman to be hung in North Carolina.
