I figure by the time you're 70, you could give a rat's ass what people think about much, especially what you ride (hopefully so0ner). That guy's out having a nice time with his wife. Or maybe with your wife while you're on the internet.

I get them all. Then again, I remember having a blast driving a tractor down a gravel road at 12 mph while yelling "VROOM! VROOOOOM!".

Then again, buying a tractor isn't on my to-do list either

Trikes, reverse trikes, training wheels, sidecar rigs or two wheels... I get them all. Everyone has different reasons for choosing the type of ride they want. The important part is that they are riding. They're out there having fun, bonding with others or with nature... or themselves. They're supporting the business of motorcycling... even giving money to the companies that make tacky stickers to put on your scoot.

I've had sidecar rigs and currently have a two-wheeler. Different animals providing a different riding experience.

Cheers to you if you ride, no matter what you ride.... and you still get a cheers even if you don't have the greatest taste in personalizing your motorcycle. Too each his or her own.

Ride safe, stay cool....

Yup.

I bet most of the guys bashing mr. and mrs. cool will not be riding when they get old. Probably won't have a 50 year marriage either. If I were to run into them you can bet I'd be laughing *with* them. You can't ride around like that without a good sense of humor.

I'll bet there is some sort of joke behind those MR & Mrs Cool signs. I agree that they probably have a sense of humor.

The guy wasn't close to dragging anything. Sometimes I ride like that when I feel like it. I'm feeling lazy, or tired, or I'm just farting around. Do whatever you want, it's not a crime to slack off every once in a while, just for the hell of it. While I try to practice good form, and do so consciously nearly every ride, I don't always ride like someone's taking pictures of me to put on the Web.

That said, I wouldn't ride like that on a road like 129, it's too much fun to not get into it.

One standard non-verbal response is this:

you'll need to find something gender-appropriate. I thumbed thru 5 pages of Google but couldn't see anything....
