I think you can if it's still under warranty. Not sure though, both Western warranties I had were bought when the bike was new.

I was lucky because my 2010 Multi came with 7 Year Western warranty purchased by original owner. It was definitely one of the deciding factors on purchasing my particular bike. So I'm still covered for another 5 years even though my original warranty expired on Sunday Considering my bike history, I will not see the warranty expire.

Yeah. I decided, on this bike, that the EverRed warranty was a good option. I'm not usually an extended warranty kind of guy, but it just made sense to me.

I tried to get the Ever Red thing when I bought the MTS from a private party. It was a day or two before the program ended. They shut it down early. SOL for me.

You are correct, there was some confusion as to exactly when the "last day" was. To remedy that, you just needed a crafty dealer that was able to "adjust" the date on the forms so it all worked out.....

FNG checking in. Got about 3k miles on my '12 multi. I had a monster 796 for about a year then bought the multi. The only problem I've had so far is the rubber bumper on the center stand has burned up. I've put 700 degrees F permatex on the top of what's left of it. That really didn't work so I wrapped some exhaust tape around it. Well, that didn't work either, long term anyways, so I had my dealer order a new rubber bumper.

mods so far: altrider radiator/oil cooler guards, aztec's spacers, and barkbusters on the way

Congrats on the new scoot! The Ti looks killer.

Re. the bumper, I gave up on mine. Kept losing it. Now I just let the center stand rest against the metal tang on the cat, and will touch up the worn paint on the center stand now and again.

Great looking machine - I was eye-balling that color Mutt at the dealer couple weeks ago. How do you like the paint so far? I thought it looked as if it didn't have a clear coat...very matte...but very cool.

I have no problems with the paint. Glad I got the Ti.

I did kinda screw up - I was using meguiar's carwash with wax in it, albiet I washed it very gently, apparently wax is bad for matte paint. I have now started using dawn and windex to clean the paint. I wash it 2 or 3 times a month - can't stand for my italian mistress to be dirty.

Ohhhh yeah - wax and matte paint not a great combo! Glad it hasn't been a problem...I know the '06 Tuono's had a matte black option that didn't work with wax, too.

The only other matte finishes I've encountered were on Harley's...they have a black denim which is pretty cool, but it gets a "patina" over time. Not sure what to think of it...

I do love that Titanium color though - glad you like the bike. My riding mate loves his...I test rode them last year and have logged some miles on his and it sure is on my short list....The Tuono may have to go. It bit me last weekend by losing ignition to cylinder no.2. Once the dog bites, I tend to shoot them. *sigh*

I bought my Ti MTS about 3 weeks ago. I've been cleaning it with Plexus and it works like a charm.

Hit 745 miles on it already. Going in next Wed for the 600 mile service. Can wait til I hit 1000 and can really thrash it!
