Sicass Plastic Plate Reinforcement
After I started using this Sicass plastic plate holder I ceased bending up and destroying plates. It even worked for nearly a year on my 300 XC-W and survived racing crashes as well. Plate still looks new. And it was mounted in the horizontal position as well.

Geek, yes, the man can be a pain. I use the copy on my 200 for hare scramble/dual sport. Usually the local fuzz are just glad your bringing some disposable income to the area & don't bother anyone unless being a total arse
Stu, I will have to check sicass as I want to get my crf250x street legal so my nephew can come play w/ me. |

The stock bolt is shouldered for those jokes KTM includes as hand guards. When you remove the shield, that's the shouldered bolt that remains.

Ask your dealer for the stock bolts. They might have put them in your tool kit. |

That's my normal riding area and mine runs like a champ up there. I've just done the de-smog and regeared to 14/48. No JD tuner and the stock map installed. The decel popping went away with the removal of the SAS and it just pulls strong from down here in the valley all the way up to the peak. Sorry to hear that you're having issues and I hope you get it sorted.

Yeah.. mine did too.. I just haven't changed it.
My reply was to the statement "your clutch bolt is loose".

Tall seat options?
has anyone found a taller seat for the 500? I want to change the ratio of bars to seat to pegs by sitting higher.

Geek, I have an enduro engineering tall soft seat...much more comfortable than stock. I've a 34-35" inseam, 6'2"
Makes the sitting/ standing transition much better imo. |

I have the hard parts xtra tall seat. It is very firm but does not have much mileage on it so i am reserving judgment for now. It does create an absolutely flat and level line from the top of the seat to the tank.
