If you're even remotely thinking about a Guzzi you need to head over to WildGuzzi and GuzziTech. Also, since you're living in Houston, get to know the folks at MPH Cycles on Park Row. Another good source for parts is Harpers.

That V7 is a great little bike.

I am fairly confident my next one will be the K1600. I did ride a goldwing which is amazing but I think the K1600 would be much more fun on the twisties.

There are several engine crash bars available for the V7. If you look closely at this pic of my V7 you can see mine:

I bought them pre-owned from a member of the WildGuzzi.com forum, so I'm not 100% sure which ones they are. There are a few threads on that forum on engine crash bars available for the V7 -- check it out.

I've been thinking the same thing. Don't want to give up the LC8 I currently own but need better ergos to accommodate this repaired knee that is giving me fits.

Our Guzzi was "dropped" the same day we picked it up from the paint shop. The engine guard that we bought from Moto International protected everything (had to replace the clutch lever) that I would have been concerned about.

New clutch lever, a couple deep breaths, and we were on our way again.
