Pisgah covered bridge, Randolph Co. NC.

Built in 1911 at a cost of $40, Pisgah Covered Bridge is located in the Uwharrie National Forest at 6925 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd,
Union Township, Randolph County. It is the only remaining covered bridge in Randolph County, and one of the two remaining
covered bridges in the state of North Carolina. The bridge is 54 feet in length and crosses the West Fork Branch of the Little River
within the Uwharrie National Forest.

Covered Bridges in the South!

The South has some covered bridges as well. Georgia has 14 or 15 covered bridges around the state. Here are a couple of them I visited last year as well as a video of my ride.

The fine for speeding or taking too many cattle through at once. Sign is refurbished, but from what I could gather, accurate of what was there in the past.

The Grays River Covered Bridge is a one-lane wooden covered bridge over the Grays River in western Wahkiakum County, Washington, and is the only one still used in Washington State. Of course it was raining, nice contrast with the hi-vis rain suit. Also, goats nearby, no photo.
