Since it's getting harder and harder these days with everyone's busy schedules for us all to find a weekend to go riding...Shipwreck and I came up with this idea.

Call In Sick Rally

How it works

-shoot me a pm with your email address to sign up
-we'll pick a day (mid week)
-one day before the ride we'll email everyone the meeting point and gps file
-meet will be somewhere within 100 km's of Ottawa
-no crazy terrain, just flowing doubletrack stuff
-early morning start, back before dinner
-late August to mid September
-day will be picked based on weather...nice and cool and dry

No excuses, once you sign up you commit to a random sick day from work

Hope to see you there, wherever there is

Great idea but you're sure to do this more than annually, right?

This is a great idea in an odd way, but that's makes it great.
Kinda wish I was a bit closer and had a job to call in sick to...

Route is layed out, looks like a good one. Should be some new terrain for everyone including a few trails of single track, quite a bit of double track, a couple of dirt roads and maybe 10 km of pavement for the entire day.

I've ridden the bulk of it before but will go pre ride the route soon to verify it is "doable "
