Oh sweet! Yeh I remember. At that spot I literally only saw 1 jeep, a side by side, and your Taco. That was it for traffic. I thought for sure it would be super busy but nope. I met a few other riders out on the trail. They told me about Motoutah. It really was a great day for me, I did most of the single track in that area including all of the center trail 009. here are some pics. Sunrise ![]() The screen shot I took to guide myself. ![]() Intersection ![]() Sweet drop tank!!!!! It must have droppen in the winter bc there was almost no damage. Would love to haul it out and make a flats car... ![]() Some singletrack stoke ![]() ![]() I had a great time! I love primitive camping and the cool temps up there. Was really nice to get out of SLC. |

Any ideas on a possible trail route from or near Ogden Valley/Ogden (Hwy 39) to Bountiful?

The spoils of tour...
...glad to be off the bike. did 1500 miles over 3 days of the twistiest roads in CA! I jumped on hwy 1 and fell into a pack of bullet bikers that taught me the joy of lane splitting

No. We were doing a project to check for and count borrial toads, frogs, salamandars. Pretty easy; find the location, fill out the paperwork, take pictures and record gps. Also checking if there was water or not. There are so many in the area
not all can be checked regularly. Great pics RR!

What was your route? I am wondering how much of that I've been on before, the twisted along highway 1 are almost good enough to be worth living in CA.

I did HWY 36 out of Fortuna towards Redbluff last year. Awesome, awesome, twisties. The day ended 850 miles later with a case of monkey butt to beat all. If you missed it go back, now. (the twisties... no my red ass...)
