Transport from canada to europe
It' s the end of my 3 years RTW Trip, and I look for a transport from Canada to Europe. I heard that Canada should be cheaper to sent from than the USA. Somewhere from the east-side, Guess Toronto is the best be?!
I would prefer air, cos I not really like to wait a long time for my bike....but all depending on the price. By air, I would transport it to Spain, by boat to Hamburg, Germany. But anything cheap is possible. Morocco would also be an option. So, ya, if anybody knows about this things, has contacts, or did that thing before, or any kind of information, please let me know! Kim, on a KTM 400 round the world......on bis way home. |

Cheap? Air? Toronto. East side?
You might want to spend more than 10 seconds researching your RTW trip. A map might be a good first purchase. Nothing air will be cheap. Toronto is not far east enough, and even the boat won't be cheap. A boat will take a week port to port so it's not that slow. Best of luck.

I used this company
in 2003 and they were great. You can ship by rail to Halifax if your in Toronto, and then ship. Four - six weeks from Vancouver. They arrange it all.
http://www.mainport-rotterdam.com/fo...1/company.html and Attico, you might want to take 10 seconds reading his post , he said he's finishing his RTW trip Think he's got maps after 3 years.

another option
You could ride to St. John's Newfoundland then load you bikes on the regular container ship to Iceland (Emskip), then explore Iceland then a ferry to the Faroe Islands, and from there to Scotland or the ferry to Norway (i think it still runs).
This is on my list to do and not to bad to arrange. Gord
