RIP Geno 1

You will be missed by motorcycle racers-riders you have met and raced world wide. What a way to go out.Went out with a handfull of throttle doing what he loved.

RIP Gene Cannady

He was the 1975 Baja 1000 Winner with Al Baker. Never knew he lived so close. He died while doing what he loved.

There are much worse ways to go out.

RIP Geno.

He quickly became known as the "flying fuzz' and "clean Gene". Gene representated the United States at the ISDE winning silver in Spain, gold at The Isle of Mann 1971 and gold in Czechoslovakia 1972. and was also a factory Penton, DKW, Kawasaki and Hodaka rider. He was also one of the founding members of the So. Ca. based "Badgers MC"

What an accomplished racer/rider and stand up guy, I wish could have met him.

Godspeed Geno

it would be nice if they mentioned in the article that he kicked ass in the Olympics of MC world, 2 golds, and Baja win , WOW!
