Obviously that post was being mis-interpreted.
I have trail camera's up there as I bear hunt. I should say, mostly bear photograph. I prefer to just watch them rather than kill 'em. I've got these feller's on at least 2 cameras. As has one of my coworkers.

My post was meant more as a cautionary post...
As it seems surveilance and patrolling Longview Fiber and Sierra Pacific properties seems to on the rise.
While 95% of the time, they're pretty cool and just ask you to leave (and often escort you) there is always the chance of them trying to make an example of someone and getting law enforecement involved.

Most notably the Longview gates off Potts and Blair roads off S. Skagit Hwy...as well as the Lonview gates bordering the DNR tract off Janicki road. Of course, DNR closed this to riding a couple years ago thanks to repeated timber theft. This USED TO BE open to ATV's, Bikes, and 4x4's...

Sorry for the false alarm!
Oh, snap! I guess you're not a prick.

This is what I seen the other day[18th].

This morning I loaded up the Excursion[dog and saw] and left for 1775 to see about the above tree. This is what I say when I got there. Must be in a wood stack some where.

As far as I could go today.

On the way back.

That Mountain.

On the way down three dual sport rider went by me. I waved at them they waved and kept on going up. Looked like a red[fast] KLX in the lead. Then just before the short cut I ran into WeeMcD. Seems he is open for some mid week riding for a while.

Work was kind enough to give half the employees a permenant unpaid vacation. What's a dual sporter to do? A quick ride up FS17 is a good way to just breath and enjoy the time. I ran into a former flat tracker on my way up. He talked like he knew about riding, but couldn't prove it as he was in a 5,000 lb behemoth with his pup Sally. After chatting with Kelvey for a bit we split ways.

Went to the big rock. I wish that I would have brought the good camera. Oh well.

Soon after the rock, I turned right where someone has been kind enough to clear log obstacles and build a branch bridge at a another spot. Eventually turning around when the trail turned to pure Goddamnit Brush.

Headed back toward FS17 and decided to follow another ridge. Nice little trail on the way out.

The trail offered a nice view of the big rock.

Eventually I lost the trail here and turned around.

Snagged this shot of FS17 at the turn around.

Alas, all good things come to an end. It was time to head out to meet a friend for dinner. Had to take the obligatory FS 17 flag shot on my way out.

It was a beautiful day for a ride. With my breath caught, now it is on to the job search today.

Bastage Made me work the other day. And it was hot outside.

I was up on the 17 Rd today. Saw no Bears (or ex-flat-trackers) or trail cameras. Only grouse, a barred owl, deer and Chi Tea drinkin Hippies.......... Oh.......... and Gee point Lake. Just forgot my camera so no pictures to prove it. I guess it didn't happen

I was up there at the lake a week ago Saturday and got several pictures. You were not in them though...

Great picture of the most common mountain view in the North Cascades We didn't need the reminder, though.
