1200GSA and Nuvi 1450...

Can anyone recommend a good windshield frame mount for the nuvi 1450 (5"screen) ?
If I can, I don't want to mount it on the RAM mount on the handlebar

TIA,

Cheers...

I put the RAM mount for my Zumo on the windshield crossbar of my GSA and it works fine. Gets it up and out in front of me.

How did you attach it to the crossbar ??? Do you reposition it according to the shield setting ?

Thanks :)

I just used a U-bolt RAM ball. I used the lower GSA bar that is oval. Yes, I have to reposition the gps it I move the screen, but that isn't often and is just a matter of moving the RAM mount arm. I'm using the 3" RAM arm.

If you want, I can go take some pictures.

I guess the RAM mount to the bar is the way to go...Guys at the AltRider showed three items I should buy - the cradle, short 2" arm and the u-bolt for 3/4 - 1 1/4 bars ...is that what you have ? I hope the u-bolt is the right size.
I imagine it's a solid mount ?

Cheers,
Peter
