Think about what you just said! GH

You are crazy Mark. But I will look forward to you telling us the part number of the "hub" once the microfiche is out.

Hi,

I am thinking about the spoke wheel upgrade to my 2011 F650GS Twin (2 cylinder). Tubeless. I read all the threads and posts I could find, but still have a few questions. Can you tell me:

MY QUESTIONS (F650GS Twin responses only):

- Exactly what size rims did you end up using on the F650GS Twin (both front and rear)?

- Why is going with a slightly narrower rim in front (2.1" vs. stock 2.5" for cast) and much narrower rear rim (2.5" vs. stock 3.5" for cast) recommended for spoked wheels? Moreover, how will going with narrower front and rear wheels change pavement ride?

- I am still debating if I should go with 21" fronts of my F650GS Twin or stay with the 19". I am a 70% on / 30% off-road rider. So, I still ride a lot on paved roads around Mid-Atlantic states. I understand Woody's does not offer a 21" in tubeless option. Can anyone help me understand the benefits of going 21" Front rim over 19"?

- How will going with a narrower 21" Front spoke change pavement ride vs. stock 19" cast?

- Does anyone know how the spoked vs. cast wheels weight ?

Greatly appreciate your responses.

Kam
