Yep no huge problem a little duct tape coundn't fix plus removing a few cacti from my arm that I happened to bale off right next too.

I rode away after a little work and more picture taking from the nice high place.


It wasn't my rodeo, down in Copper Canyon in 2008 trying the hard way riding out over to Rodeo On the big bike this time and again was able to ride out with only a weeping clutch cylinder.

May have seen this before ... Moab 2007



Hondo threw his scooter down on Sand Flats Road above Moab. To be fair, the hard pan had a nice coating of fine sand and gravel - flat trackers dream, drag a foot and hang the back end out with lots of throttle.

Alas, Hondo had no flat tracking experince, until that day.

The corners were slippery, but not unmanageable. I took the pic as Hondo was screaming about the tank leaking on his tankbag and camera. Some people, so needy.

Another rider came in right behind him and also threw his scooter down - partly from inexperience on marbles, and partly for solidarity.
